AUTISM ACCEPTANCE.
World Autism Acceptance week, this year, was Monday 27th March to Sunday 2nd April. Previous years it has been called Autism Awareness but this year the emphasis shifted to aim for a more inclusive world. NO LIMITS held our Acceptance Day on Wednesday 29th March with a coffee & cake morning in St Mary’s church narthex. We followed the brief of spotlighting the problems that people with Autism have to cope with and overcome every day and to highlight the many talents, skills and interests our members have.
Thousands of landmarks and buildings were illuminated in blue light to indicate support for Autism and the need for inclusivity and acceptance. We lit the church pillars in blue . Our members did not disappoint as each produced a display board of their achievements. Our event was very well attended and we thank all those who supported us in so many ways from offering us the church space for the event, to bringing tombola and raffle prizes, cakes and most of all themselves. It was a truly inspiring and inclusive event.

Day Out On The Severn Valley Railway
Wednesday 25th May 2022
Some of the members of the No Limits 4 Autism group are railway steam enthusiasts and so on Wednesday 25th May 2022, twelve of us decided to make a day of it visiting the Severn Valley Railway. Dale Jones organised our itinerary for the day and so meeting at Stourbridge Junction, we travelled to Kidderminster to catch the Severn Valley train to Bridgnorth. Dale was able to give us plenty of facts about the Severn Valley railway and particularly about what we were going to see at our stop at the Highley Museum where we stopped for lunch. We had a great time on the railway but it was soon time to return to Stourbridge Junction where we arrived back at 5:45pm.
Our photographs were taken at the lunch stop at Highley Museum.
